I’m back! I haven’t posted anything in two weeks, so I’m glad I get to write again. The reason why I didn’t post was partly because I’m really busy and partly because of a bit of a writers block. I just couldn’t come up with anymore topics. Hopefully this week will be a new start and I’ll be able to continue writing again.
So, since ones in a while someone sends me a DM on Instagram to ask me how I edit my pictures, I decided to write a post about it. I switch it up sometimes and the edits that I’ll show you are in the same style as my current Insta feed.
Ok, so baby steps. First of all, I’m editing all my pictures with the app VSCO. I personally like their filters best. The first picture is basically the original one, it’s cropped a little though. The second one already has a filter which is A6 (I’m using this one on all pictures right now). In the third picture I changed the light a little. A little less exposure and a bit more contrast.
Then last but not least, I added a little grain. I just like the vintage vibe it gives.
On to the second insta picture:
So, same thing as the first picture. Add a filter, adjust the light and add a little grain.
This is the process that I’ve used for pretty much all my latest pictures. However, sometimes I also reduce the saturation a little. I like the orange touch the A6 filter gives but sometimes it makes me a little too orange and I decide to reduce the saturation.
Well that was it. Hopefully this was useful or at least a little entertaining. If not, I’m sorry but I can’t give you back these 1-2 minutes. Thanks for reading anyway!
