Yaaass! I’m so excited about this smoothie bowl! It was so good and it makes me wish that I was more of a morning person so that I could eat this every single morning. Unfortunately I’m more of a ‘stay-in-bed-until-I-only-have-about-10-minutes-left’ kinda person. Whatever, it also works for lunch haha.
So I’m gonna split up the ingredients between ‘smoothie’ and ‘decoration/extra’s’.
- Frozen berries
- Greek yoghurt
- Kiwi gold
- Mix of unsalted nuts and raisins
Ok, so the steps are really easy. You cut some of the fruit that you want to put at the bottom of your bowl. You don’t have to but it would be a shame if you’ve already eaten all of the fruit before you even get to the end of your bowl.
So when your done cutting your fruit and you’ve put it in the bowl, you can start making your smoothie. I’d advice you to have a strong mixer. It’s really hard to get through the frozen mixed berries when your mixer isn’t strong enough. You just put your berries in there and add some Greek yoghurt. Then when this is properly mixed you can add some banana. My mixer isn’t that big so I just repeated these steps again and made another portion.
I also added some honey to make it a little sweeter.
Then you add the smoothie to the fruit that you already have in your bowl..
And you can start decorating! Yaayy! Just add the fruit that you have left and the nuts and raisins in whatever pattern you like. There you, you’ve made your very own smoothie bowl. Enjoy!
