Last Friday afternoon me and Loreen (one of my closest friends) were a little bored. We decided to take a look at my bucket list to see if there was something on there that we could do. Since parachuting was off limits (ok no, we were not impulsively gonna do that anyway), we figured making cocktails would be a good option.
So we went to the store and did a a little grocery shopping. We also used some stuff that I already had at home. We literally just mixed things and hoped for the best. I’m not gonna lie I actually really liked the first one. The second one was a bit too bitter and sour for me. However, I guess that just depends on what you like. I just like my cocktails sweet.
The ingredients of cocktail 1:
- 3 oz Pineapple juice
- 2 oz Orange juice
- 1 Spoon of condensed coconut milk
(I had never heard of this before but it was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. It’s so soft and sweet.)
- 1 oz Bacardi
- Coconut crisps
So what’s next? Honestly just put all of this and some ice cubes together in whatever you can use as a cocktailshaker. (We used a smoothie bottle). Shake everything and then pour it into a glass. You could add some coconut crisps on top if you like. We also added some pomegranate but that was more about looks than about taste. It kinda tasted like a Piña Colada, which is my favorite cocktail.
And cocktail 2:
- 3 oz Bitter lemon
- Half a lime
- 1,5 oz Orange juice
- 1 oz Bacardi
- A bit of sirope to get some extra color
Same thing again; we mixed everything with ice and poured it into a glass. It just looked really plain though. Kinda like regular juice. That’s why we added some sirup. It just looked a lot better with an extra color at the bottom of the glass. You can also add a slice of orange for decoration.
